hello.
I’m Kyla Vaughan, an independent graphic designer, outdoor enthusiast and mom of 2 beautiful girls. I am located in Saskatchewan but work with clients from all over Canada. I generally work solo but also have a network of talented people I partner with when projects require. To say that “I love what I do” would be a major understatement! I spend countless hours working on designs and thoroughly enjoy each moment.
I work hard to build long lasting relationships with my clients and pride myself on my ability to be a collaborator not a compromiser. I always tell it like it is and encourage open and honest feedback and communication. I aim to give every client the best experience possible, tackling your design needs so you can focus where you are needed most.
MY STORY
I have been in the technology industry for 23 years. With both Computer Science and Graphic Design degrees, I have navigated all facets of the IT industry throughout the years. I have been fortunate to have my career take me to three different provinces and meet some amazing people along the way. Ironically, along with my strong technology background, I also have a diploma in Applied Psychology and Counselling. But I truly believe that my diverse work and life experiences are what have led me to be a better, more intuitive designer today.
Vaughan Graphics is a culmination of all of my creative passions, business background, technical knowledge and people experience all wrapped into one. I am lucky to combine the things I love into one career, spending each day creating Pretty Clever Designs.
When I am not getting lost in my design work - you will find me wandering through the forest, sitting by a fire or paddling a northern lake with my two adventurous daughters, Morgan & Devyn, my handsome hubby, Dave and my pup, Louis!
